tOSU has had a good season. getting past penn state was an important hurdle.

Well @Tankthe beat goes on.  I took Duke -10 at Boston College and lo and behold, Duke let BC score a TD with 21 seconds left and I lost 38-31.

Holy crap. I took BC but stopped watching when it was 38-21. I hadn't even gone back to check the score.

After a home loss to Florida today, Texas A&M is one loss away from not making a bowl game, with road games at Auburn and LSU remaining. The Gators' defense, which hadn't stopped much of anybody (130th in FBS in third down conversion percentage allowed) generated two turnovers in the second half and shut out the Aggies after halftime. Not a great mood in College Station.

LSU just knocked Alabama out of the playoffs in overtime. Instead of a field goal for a tie the Tigers went for two and the win in front of their home crowd.

I know they changed the OT rules in college football a couple years ago, but when did they start allowing teams to attempt a field goal after a TD?

Notre Dame has beaten 4 top 20 teams this year, but has lost to 2 miserable teams, in Stanford and Marshall.  If I was USC, I’d be concerned..

Putting up 62 points and over 600 yards on them last year was pretty good.

Not sure about exposing them. Their offense is formidable.

It was an extra point, but I digress. IMO Kelly was determined not to repeat the mistake that he made in the Florida State game at the beginning of the season. With his team gassed and having just put together a miracle drive to score on the last play to make it a one point game, he played for the tie and the PAT was blocked. They had special teams problems the entire game.
