I think these broadcasts would be a lot more interesting if, whenever a player came up, they displayed their professional league stats from last year.

FS1 doesn't even bother with showing the players names most of the time.

I want to know when we have a marginal big leaguer facing off against someone who was working at Home Depot last year.

So far I have to say this WBC has been pretty interesting and entertaining from my perspective but admittedly I’m an addict so not sure how much interest the casual sports fan is having in this. 
 

Hopefully this is sparking interest in baseball for the casual fans.
