It is too bad that we cannot honestly choose who we root for. Only band wagon fans, who are not true fans, do this.

I stopped watching them in 2018 for over two years out of frustration. Young fans can probably not imagine following  this depressing organization since 1968.

I returned because I missed the team. I also know that to enjoy the games, I had to have absolutely NO expectations for success.

I wish we could choose who to root for, but it does not work that way.

If you are a young fan, expect only futility under Arte, and do not let the the team get to you
