If the Angels try to rebuild by trading Trout and Ohtani, it probably would not be enough. This organization needs about 15  soon to be ready players , but would probably get only five top prospects for each of them.

I’m just confounded. The FO and coaching staff continues to think that playing Rengifo, Velazquez, and Lagares (or Wade, Mayfield) is a viable option to get us back on track. These guys are AAA players at best. I am just at a loss how they can think this is going to work. And as we slip further and further out of the wild card, we aren’t going to do anything differently?
