You’ve assimilated well to AngelsWin, well done Jeff.  The point is we lacked outfield depth and we released a veteran who we are paying regardless. Now we have infielders playing outfield, again.

I think the infielders playing the outfield is about a wash.

I would rather have Marsh starting and Upton as the 4th outfielder.

It basically happened last year. Upton was coming off the bench.  Or am I misremembering?

He started 87 games. Had a couple injuries. I think he'd be taking at bats away from Marsh and the defense would be worse overall.

I'm not mad they released Upton.  I'm mad because they didn't prepare themselves well otherwise.  Upton on this team probably doesn't make much difference.  Hey I don't know.  How about a backup plan for the 30 games you were planning to sit Trout or the other 30 games you were planning to sit Marsh.  Or if he didn't work out as well.  Or if Adell didn't work out.  Or if Ward didn't work out.  Ahhh.  Never mind.
