The Angels FO and the coaching staff have read this board religiously over the years, so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Maddon got some ideas here for his lineups. Just like Fletcher and the media get ideas for their stories from here based on our conversations.

I liked what I saw from Ward yesterday out of the leadoff spot. 

1-2 with two walks is what you want to see out of your leadoff guy.

Agree - he has a good approach for lead off. Good contact and discipline.

and more power/speed as well. 

Rojas does have a .350 OBP in his career in the minors. Not quite Ward's .398 but I'll take it if he can see pitches and get on base.
