Mayers is a 29 year old veteran with three previous years of MLB full time experience. Chris Rodriguez previous experience was 3 innings in Inland Empire back in 2019.

 Your statement about over using Mayers and then pulling Rodriguez too soon is a laughable troll job or you are simply not very bright. There is a good possibility you are not a troll.

He was throwing 97-98 MPH. Since when does issuing a walk suggest a pitcher is tired?

If you’re just going by velocity, you’re not going to think anyone is tired.

The kind of “tired” we’re talking about means going from 100 percent to 98 percent. That’s all it takes to lose your mechanics and not put the ball where you want it.

Don't forget about Heaney.  Heaney occasionally needs to leave for about 3 or 4 innings every 6 games but then is free to x box.
