SMU's national ranking will be a thing of the past after they led 24-7 at the half, scored zero in the second half and lost 28-24 at Tulsa.

And before I forget, Florida State also sucks (not that this bothers me in the least).

They were idiots to hire him in the first place. He all but destroyed the program at Florida, which was in South Carolina's division in the SEC. They saw first hand what a catastrophe that he was, and they hired him anyway. The only real question after the hiring was when the firing would come.

Any AD who even mentions Muschamp's name in a head coaching search should be fired on the spot.

I was browsing through the game previews for this week, and I spotted the following: Wyoming at UNLV, tickets as low as $505. I realize that this isn't a typical season and the draw at this point is really the stadium, but I could have once bought every ticket sold at Sam Boyd Stadium for that kind of money. From the same game, a 1-2 Wyoming team is a 16.5-point favorite. On the road. This is going to be a long uphill climb for the Rebels.

He slowed down in the 2nd half. Finished with 36 carries for 409 yards and 8 TDs.

I watched that game. I haven't bothered with much football this year but who can resist two 0-2 teams battling for last place? Plenty of blunders, showing why neither team really deserves a better record.
