First, they stole Fed funds for the rail. Now they want Fed funds for tent cities they created.

Many voters are just plain stupid and are won over by glitzy advertising. These fools voted for the bullet train that went from $10 billion in bonds to $100 billion. They loved the artist's conception of a sleek new train rushing through a pristine central valley.  Newsom at least had the sense to put a stop to the madness. 

But put another boondoggle on the ballot and jazz it up with some fancy ads, and they'll line up to vote yes once again.

The tar pits are getting a makeover. How about diverting the money to makeover tent cities?

This place traumatized me when I was 10.
