Over or under on how many hr's Heaney gives up? I am guessing 3, as he will be lucky to go more than 4 innings. And the fact almost every A's hitter has over 20 hr's, and that is without Kris Davis in the lineup.

There are some teams who are fooled by Heaney and flail away at his pitches out of the zone. (Texas did this twice.) Oakland doesn't seem like that kind of team.

But, Lord do I hope I am wrong. Taking this game tonight would make this two-game sweep my favorite moment of the season, no question. I dislike Oakland more than the Yankees and Red Sox combined.

...and it would possibly knock Oakland one more game back in the wild card hunt. Rays are winning 2-0 in the 6th inning (it was a no-hitter until just a moment ago), and Cleveland needs to make up an early 3-0 deficit to the White Sox.

One of the three (A's, Rays, Indians) will not go on to the postseason. We can have something to say about that tonight!

Yep, that's exactly why it would be my favorite moment of the season.

I'm not a fan of his at all, but if you told me a couple of hours ago he would only give up one run through 5, I would have been thrilled.

20-game losers like the late Roger Craig often pitch well enough to stay in some games, and get chances to be around long enough to factor in decisions. Usually losing decisions.
