You know, for an added entertainment element to all of this.....it could be fun once the batter breaks to first after a WP or PB, but the play wouldn't be considered a force out, so the batter could get into a pickle with the infield between home and first. And if the batter makes it back safely to home, he gets to continue his AB.

They should make an option where you can also try for 2nd base in this scenario. You run from the plate straight towards 2nd. The only caveat is you have to get past the pitcher, who can try to stop you by any means necessary.
