I'd trade him in a heart beat. Not for any other reason than he really has only one more year left with the Angels. If Adell is what everyone thinks he is. He will be up in the majors next year or the year after that. No reason not to trade Calhoun if you can get some pieces for him. And shed payroll for next year.

Isn't that what I said with either this upcoming year or next year. Calhoun is only signed through next year. You can find a one year stop gap if you traded Calhoun before Adell got here.

We already have a one year stop who plays GG defense and can hit. No need to gamble away another season imo. Besides, It kinda sends the wrong message to Trout.

I was all in at the trade deadline to move Calhoun but I'm not so sure now....If we could get a decent prospect, I'd at least consider it though....

If Johnson can pitch decently over the next few weeks I’m sure they’ll trade him for whatever.  I’m sure the only reason he wasn’t traded was because of his DL stint.
