I say Parker over Middleton.  Middleton deserves it because he walked the lead off batter.  However Middleton has been good for most of the season.  Parker has ducked every inning he has pitched!

Can someone confirm the rules interpretation on that play? If the umps did not apply the rules properly you would think they could protest it.  

I was watching the game with the volume off so didn't get any info on it outside the game day thread.

Everyone has just glossed over it and taken the umpires word for it but it doesn't make sense. If that is the rule that means that if Didi never bothered to tag up he still would've scored.

Team loss imo 

Sure it would of been nice if Middleton got the save or Parker didn’t give up the HR. 

It would also been nice if the offense scored more runs.
