Eppler likes high spin rates.  He picked up two last year, Bud Norris and a minor league pitcher (don’t recall the name).  Bard sounds like a good pick-up, and as others suggest, would I would like to see the Angels make a trade to get him off Rule 5 restrictions, as that would really increase his value.

I also hope we keep Ramirez, though it's mainly because the name "Noe Ramirez" is fantastic.

A spin rate of 2,730  is just stupid.
