Yankees now need 2B and 3B too

Yankees are being aggressive and now clearly need 2B and 3B solutions with Castro and Headley both gone now.

If Angels don't want to end up with fallback options, it is time pull the trigger on what they want.

I will bet neither of those players will be in the conversation within 72 hours.

There are lots of immediate options that are better bets rather than hoping an unproven player will perform.

I see the Yankees securing highly recognizable names for those two positions at these meetings.

With this trade, I wonder if Solarte would now be expendable from the Padres. Might not be a bad option since he brings such defensive flexibility.

From everything I've read, those two prospects are ready for the big league level.
