Definitely, but an .820+ OPS at the SS position in this offensive era in baseball is pretty damn good.

He's still being propped up by his absurdly good April/May.  Since June 1st in 235 PAs:  .278/.311/.395

 

I think more time is needed before we declare we were fleeced in the Greinke deal.  for going on 2+ months he's been pretty mediocre at the plate.

Those are still good numbers for a young SS, but that BABIP in his first 200 ABs was just not sustainable. So as that came down back to reality so did his other numbers.

BABIP currently sitting at .343. It was .360 in May. Probably still unsustainable. His BABIP post-trade last year was .305 in 163 PA. I imagine the real BABIP will probably settle in the .315-.325 range, which will put his average at around .290ish. Not bad, but not world-beating, either.
