#Angels have signed outfielder, Jared Hoying, to a minor-league deal.

29 in 2018, Hoying hits left-handed, career minor league slash of .260/.320/.444/.764. Little bit of speed and pop - his last four years at AAA Round Rock, he averaged 19 HR and 19 SB each season.

In 75 MLB games, he has hit .220/.262/.288/.550, seeing time at each OF position and even one game on the mound.

This is a decent deal. It provides depth at AAA Salt Lake, where Hoying will likely start the season.
