Six-run inning is a welcome sign, and hopefully not too late.

Twins/Indians tied at 4 in the 4th inning.

You know...if the angels win every game from here on out, and the indians sweep the twins, the twins will have to sweep their last series to clench WC. I know, I know, its asking a lot, but...wouldn't that be hilarious?

The Twins would have to lose either 3 to Cleveland and  2 to the Tigers or visa-versa in order to tie if we win the rest of our games. Not likely...

Yeah, really at this point, its more about enjoying Angels baseball while we can, before the off-season slog.

I think they only need 1 win against the Tigers to clench a tie, and 2 to win the WC.

Yeah, that's basically what I said. They need to win one to force a tie breaking game, and win two to clench the WC spot.

Really, my point here is more: maybe if we HADN'T completely shit ourselves after getting knocked around by the Indians, things might look actually possible, because half of the rest of the games the twins play will be very hard. Buuuut too late for that now.

Right.

2 is their magic number to clinch the 2nd wild card. Only 1 win and they get a tie in case we win out.

They could also lose all six remaining games and if we lose two we're out.

Clevinger in for Cleveland now in the 6th inning, tied 4-4

Indians are serious about home field advantage. They're two games ahead of Houston, which is clobbering Cole Hamels and the Rangers. Hamels is still in the game.

If you think Detroit goes to Minnesota and takes 2 of 3 or sweeps twins this weekend.
