A lot of star players have struggled before in the postseason. Not just Trout. Ted Williams and Jose Altuve. Altuve's career slash line in the postseason is worst than Trout and that is playing in the little league Minute Maid Park for his home games in the postseason.

Dude you are digging to make excuses and it's annoying. Trout has $hit the bed. That doesn't mean we don't love him and want him to be a halo forever. Just acknowledge what isn't debatable.

Great in regular season is different than clutch time. Greatest players are always remembered for what they do in the clutch. Ask Dan Marino

Trout is still young but it seems that in the most important games he has played for the Angels including this September he is not nearly as good as the less pressure games of the regular season. He is young and hopefully he will shut me the hell up but it is what it is.

Marino played for a shitty defense for basically his whole career. Please, Marino would have won a lot of Super Bowls if he had a defense like Brady had.

Good point, Kershaw choked in the postseason in 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. You can't say Trout is a choke artist because you don't have a big sample size to use from. Any superstar can have a bad series/postseason but it doesn't make them chokers.

Not trending in that direction. Right now you are using maybe 50-70 at bats out of 4000 in his career to say he comes up small in big games. 

You can say he HAS come up small in big games, but you can't say he does and will come up small in big games.

I agree with this. Guerrero in 2005 was only 7 for 38 (.184) in postseason, even went 1 for 20 in the ALCS.
