Maybe not defensively, but Beltre is a better all around player than Brooks Robinson was. Robinson was an overrated offensive player

way different game in the 60's when Brooks Robinson played.

more of a pitching/ defense game in all of MLB -- AL AND NL --

corner guys -- well at least the 3B - was not the power position it is now and has been for a while.

Brooks Robinson was an absolute vacuum cleaner at 3B.............just amazing.  His Batting Average was above average for 3Bs of his era.

Baltimore had FOUR 20 game winners one season - a lot of it had to do with Robinson at 3B and Belanger at SS.

Fuc_en Pujols kills the Angels every night with his double plays, strikes outs, and his super turtle speed. Why doesn't this terd retire as he is no longer dependeble for the team and killing there chances.       Just retire and help coach the younger kids.

Yea, he was a pretty ideal guy off the bench for like 3 or 4 years. Not a massive fuck up.  Of course, those were pretty damn Angels teams in the mid 2000's.  I'll never stop being butt hurt that we didn't win a World Series in those years.

What a frustrating loss. Texas continued to open the door for us and the angels would just slam the door back shut.

Look at who they are throwing.  His ERA is over 7 I believe.  Before complaining about our pitcher watch what some other clubs have to throw.  Baltimore also had s guy with ERA over 7 and he got crushed.
