Keynan Middleton Called Up

Former Titan Keynan Middleton has been promoted to the Los Angeles Angels, a source confirmed to The Register-Guard. The Angels are expected to announce the move Friday afternoon.

Cool.  Started the season slow with 4er in his first two appearances spanning 3.1ip.  

Wasn't giving up runs for his next few appearances, but 6 base runners over his next 3ip.  

Then he couldn't strike anyone out with no K over a 3.1ip span. 

Over his last 4 appearances, 4ip, 0h, 1bb, 1hbp, 5k.  

It seems like they were stretching him out a bit early on as he pitched more than one inning in his first 5 appearances whereas his last 5, he's only pitched one inning.  

So it looks like he's a one inning type going forward.

Great move. In my opinion, we've been very fortunate so far. Ramirez was rock solid in relief, but it appears he'll be a starter going forward. Petit is pitching better than he has his whole career, and Blake Parker's dominance came out of nowhere. Bud Borris looks great, but he's never done this before.

It was bound to go awry at some point. Not yet, but it's on it's way, and without Bedrock, Bailey Street, we're in trouble.

The sooner Middleton and even Eduardo Paredes make his way to Anaheim the better. Adding that octane to the back end of the bullpen can help turn things around quickly.

RHP Keynan Middleton has been recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake. Following last night's game, RHP Daniel Wright was optioned to Salt Lake.
