I prefer to think of it as 6-2, then 1-10, then 4-1.

Nice win. It's funny, one game under .500 and we're tied for 2nd. Houston can't stay this consistent all year. Can they? Let's just keep it going tomorrow.

Texas and Seattle look like they could burst into flames at any moment. Houston could play this well all year, but they have a history of being really inconsistent over a full season in recent years. They could put it all together, or they could come back to Earth. 

Oakland may not be the cellar-dwellers everyone expected. They're due for one of their 'surge out of nowhere' seasons. Their offense really works the count and has some solid bats and they always find just enough pitching.

Don't worry, if Oakland shows any life in July Beane will trade away as much as he can to play for next season.

I was at the game last night and Marte looked terrible in 2 of his at bats.  He feebly swung at some off speed pitches and looked completely lost and clueless.

And this is coming from someone who likes Marte.

He's had 10 few ABs and is hitting almost 50 points lower than Cron.   I'm pulling for the guy but he's not doing himself any favors.   Dude had a negative DRS at 1B and LF too..   Say what you will about Cron, he has a history of hitting May-August.
