TBH did any Angel fan think Simmons <> Aybar trade was bad? I disliked a lot of Angels moves for past years but that trade was definitely jack pot for us. I was also sad to see Aybar going just a year after Howie left the team, but Aybar was already past his prime and Andrelton is one of the best defensive shorts in the league's history. He's the guy that helps the team while batting 0.220 just because of his defense. Aybar was great defender as well, but not even close when it's compared to what Simmons offers on the field

 I think it was the young talent that they gave up in the deal

Since we have Maybin and Revere now, I hope Kole can have some days off or start as DH sometimes too. If I remember correctly he is always on fire in early seasons and struggle so much in the second half and his avg drops to 0.260-270 at the end of the season. But since we didn't even have a starting LF, and had bunch of jokes fooling around in the left, Kole barely had any day off to keep him fresh
