Michigan State got handled at home by BYU, 0-3 since cracking the top ten.

Once again Tennessee overcame a double-digit deficit. This time, their luck ran out.

Michigan is giving Rutgers a thrashing. 71-0 with ten minutes to go.

Total yards: Michigan 540, Rutgers 10.

20 first downs for Michigan, none for Rutgers.

Someone should stop this one and let everyone go home.

Rutgers wound up with two first downs and 39 yards of total offense in the 78-0 final. The Scarlet Knights completed two of 18 passes for five yards. Someone believed that it was a good idea to bring them into the Big Ten.

Seems like ever since Greg Schiano left for the NFL, Rutgers has sucked increasingly each season.   They are getting LB State and Fullerton State in their swan song seasons bad.

Even LB never lost 78-0, and they did play at least one #1 ranked team in the program's history (The U in 1991, which included The Rock).

Not sure if anyone watched the Notre Dame - NC State game yesterday, but it should not have been played. High winds, torrential rain, and a field that was essentially a giant mud hole.

in successive weeks, rutgers has lost to THE Ohio State University 58-0 and that team from up north, 78-0.

you know who thought it was a good idea to bring rutgers into the big 10? everyone except rutgers.

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor started a promotion last week for the remainder of the 2016 season, in which they give a percentage discount equal to Michigan's margin of victory in the previous week's game (capped at 50 percent). They probably envisioned discounts of 7-10 percent with Michigan playing their Big Ten schedule. Then came Rutgers.

Rutgers was pathetic in this game. Two first downs, 39 yards of total offense, 2-18 passing for five yards. Futility isn't a strong enough word to describe this.

PAC-12 looks like U-Dub and every one else.   Utah is the only other Top 25 team currently, although Colorado and Wazzu are in the Top 30 in both polls.

Which way is up?   Three of those schools had struggling programs seemingly just 2-3 years ago.

A friend who grew up in Philadelphia and went to Penn State said that the old saying in his neighborhood was that kids wither went to Penn State or state pen.
