Here's Kershaw doing the same thing (though his front leg is much straighter.)

Well, to be honest with Kershaw's mechanics... He does a little "Bob with his leg" where he brings it up and then down not touching the ground and then goes to home plate (almost jumping to home plate).... Now, this could be a tell of his breaking ball or change up also? in this picture though it looks like a fastball. I haven't watched enough of him to see what he does... I'm just advising basic knowledge of the pitching motion, release point and the rest... Also, when you throw that hard with that kind of breaking stuff and being able to hit most of your spots... His fastball is usually up where he elevates and his breaking stuff is usually down in the zone to the dirt....

If this season ends up going down the drain...this guy will be my silver lining! Everytime he starts I'm getting stoned outta my damn mind, LOL! Perhaps a new sign is needed at the Big-A? We can call ourselves Timmay's Potheads? The Freak's Hotbox? Lincecum's lighters? The 420 Fans? Feel free to join in!
