What the F happened this weekend?

The good thing from this weekend is that we know this team is better.  Well at least we know that Trout is better.  If he had just gotten a couple of measly singles when runners were on, the series likely would be been 2 out of 3 good guys.  This team will go the way of Trout.

Mike Trout without a hit with runners in scoring position!  and you guys are surprised we got swept?

 

I have a couple of questions?  Who really thought this team was good coming out of spring training?

 

Who the hell thought we would be within 1.5 games of the lead with Trout playing as bad as he is?

It isn't Trout that worries me. When you can only manage two runs in a 12-inning game, you aren't going to win very often, regardless of the starting pitching.

Trout was 0fer with RISP.  that is a great explanation.

It should go down as the worst series of the year. We didn't hit and our relievers provided no relief. When all is said and done the twins will win 75+ games, they just started off horribly.

Oh just wait, ye of little faith. I'm still waiting for that weekend around the three quarters mark of the season where the angels seem to be making an impossible run at first place, despite all odds, and are facing up against the first place astros who have been slumping, just to get swept in a three game series. You KNOW its going to happen. It always does.
