I think Tropeano and Skaggs will do okay, but we are one or two injuries away from having Weaver, Wilson and Shoemaker all in the rotation at the same time. That would be brutal.

Is Skaggs on the DL? This might turn out well .... this will put a fire under Eppler to sign another SP.

Skaggs is on a minor league team. He is not on the DL. He basically just get some more starts before retuning to the rotation.

Tropeano for the next couple of weeks, and then hopefully Skaggs will be ready. This is a tough blow. Heaney being a legit #2/3 guy for us was one of the keys to the season.

I'm definitely an optimist when it comes to this team, and think and expect them to be competitive this year, but realistically I still see 2016 purely as a transitional year. 

If Heaney misses significant time, I'd much rather it be this year than a couple years from now when I expect us to be one of the top teams.

Doctors have assured Angels that Andrew Heaney's ulnar collateral ligament is healthy. Initial hope is that he gets right again with rest.

I think Scotty's right on this one. If it were a tendon I'd be scared but a strained muscle tends to heal fast. Especially when you're young.
