So why is it.  In baseball.  If the pitcher commits the error, the runs become unearned?  I can understand if a player other than the pitcher commits the error, it should be unearned, since it was out of the pitchers control.  But this was his own error that led to his demise.  Why isn't he penalized for it?

This team also hits for power up[ and down the order. There isn't anyone that cant't go deep...and thats why Joe got away with what he did...they weren't expecting it.

Plus you have the pitcher batting in this league.
