The A's are shutting him down for the season.  Were getting a guy with a 7.26 ERA on Wednesday.  This is huge for us, we could possibly get that sweep after all.  The A's dont play any more division rivals this year either.  

 

I think that makes them all the more dangerous.  They can play with absolutely nothing to lose.  And guys fighting for positions next year are all trying to impress.

The pitching aspect definitely benefits the Angels.  The Angels offense is doing well right now, so this should work in their favor.
