Yep. Voters will take one look at his 130+ RBIs/120+ runs by the end of the season and that will be that.

Trout has no chance.

Donaldson has 37 more RBI than Trout.

 

I'm not saying i is just but Donaldson's already won the MVP.

 

(That said, Donaldson and Trout are neck-and-neck in fWAR with 7.9 and 7.8, respectively, so it isn't like Donaldson isn't a worthy candidate).

Donaldson has seen 80 more men on base during his at bats than Trout.  

 

Donaldson has seen 190 RISP to Trout's 126

 

As an aside, Donaldson and Pujols have had similar RBI opportunities.

This September has Trout pretty much nailing down a top 2 MVP voting finish, making it 4 for 4 since 2012 and yet another MLB record.
