Fan Fatally Injured at Turner Field

No sympathy. Was he drunk? Acting like an asshole has its price. He paid with his life.

And you sympathy Sallies are really getting soft.

How is this death any different than the ones posted in the Darwin threads??

Hypocrite pussies.

You missed that initial thread title SOTO, it stated that he was killed by Arod.  That was a little over the top.  It was changed to something more appropriate for the circumstances.

I stand by my original title. Arod killed him.

“When they called A-Rod coming to bat, he got all excited, and his momentum took him over (the railing),” fan Marty Burns told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

There's a direct correlation between Arod and the guy who died. Arod needs a lifetime ban before it happens again. MLB needs to protect the fans.

It's sad to see so many here trashing this man and making jokes. Yes, he was not careful, but we don't know all the details yet. The police are still investigating this, and are looking into the possibility that he was pushed.

And if he was drinking and/or reckless, well, I've been there before, and I'll wager that some here might have done some dangerous things in their life at one time or another. Many years ago I was a heavy drinker and did a lot of stupid things that could have gotten me injured or worse.

I walked away from an accident one time that should have killed me. Flipped over turning onto Sunset Blvd in Westwood at 50 mph. Nobody else was injured, thank God. All that was damaged was the car. Several other stories I could relate. I cleaned up my act decades ago, and am grateful every day for good health and sanity.

And if there's nobody here who ever drank too much and acted stupidly at a baseball game, well, that's simply amazing.

"There but for the grace of God..." That's my philosophy.

This thread had small growth potential but slapping the G-O-D in here will make it flourish.

Glad to hear you survived that awful wreck.

If the guy was pushed, I recant my position on him. If he was wasted and acting afool, his problem.

Not intending to turn it into a theological battle like some other threads.

I just feel some sympathy for him knowing the stupid things I did that could have gotten me killed.
