That is s crazy anomaly for the A'th. But it does show their glaring weaknesses, including a mediocre bullpen, so much so that they felt compelled to actually trade for the questionable Mujica.

With Puig and Crawford coming back they're going to be loaded in the OF.

Ether just turned 33 in April, and has two seasons plus a vesting option for 2018 on his contract after this season.

I'm guessing the 2016-2017 money is about $35 million total, but don't know how the vesting option is set up.

It's not Wells money, at least, depending on the vesting rules.
