That trade was quite likely Dipoto's worst move that was not forced by Moreno. Only the Blanton signing was even close.

Had the deal been for Bourjos only it might have been excusable but not for both Bourjos and Grichuk.

Who would be the only relatively trusted pitcher out of the bullpen (non Street/Smith division) right now?

 

This trade was still good. Grichuk is still a AAAA outfielder, and Bourjos still isn't the hitter that he needs to be to play every day.

Jeremy Guthrie of the Royals has allowed 11 runs already to the Yankees and they're only in the second inning.

Jeremy Guthrie of the Royals lasted one inning against the Yankees today and gave up 8 runs.

He actually came out for the second and served up a 3 run homer and then was pulled...
