CJ only pitched into the 7th inning 12 out of 31 starts last year. At current pace, even with Scioscia not letting SP much past 90 pitches in first start of the year, he should still make it into the 7th.

In only 5 of 31 starts did he give up less than 2 walks. And 3 of those it was because he was getting teed off of (5,6,6 earned runs allowed).
