I'm not saying the Angels should or shouldn't do it. I'm just wondering what team you guys think does make this move.

Texas, if Mitch Moreland continues to be "meh" in the bigs and Fielder has some more injury concerns. Yankees would make sense too with their joke of a ballpark.

I was thinking Tezas as well. Yankees have a log jam at 1st and DH with Arod and Tex

At that price I would consider it depending on what they would want in return. As of right now, who's our lefty handed bat off the bench? Navarro? If someone guaranteed me that Navarro is making the team then I would have no interest in Howard.

I think Howard's done. He's a good guy, good teammate but after the ruptured Achilles' tendon, he simply hasn't been able to generate the necessary power from his lower half and thus he's tried compensating in other ways, which has led to inconsistent mechanics and injury.

As we've learned with Albert. Without a healthy and fully functioning lower half, it's extremely difficult to be a productive hitter. The only ones I can think of that have done it are Mickey Mantle and Vlad Guerrero, though I'm sure there are more.

Ryan Howard's just not one of them. If he 'a somehow healthy again he might have a little life left in him, a little.

Never know, A-Rod is still a huge question mark. Teixeira can't stay healthy.
