The man. Most naturally gifted hitter Ive ever seen. Something about those #27s. Even though we lost that game and series, his slam against Boston in the 2004 ALDS to tie it was unbelievable.

 

As if we needed any more reason to hate Boston...I was disgusted how the Red Sux decidedly threw at Vladdy to knock him out of the playoffs.  I think they got to his ribs, or wrist?  Or both?  I can't remember which.  I will ALWAYS advocate Angel pitchers throwing at the head of Ortiz.
