Nah. Milone is borderline long relief material. He wouldn't help the rotation much imo

Beane acquired Callaspo when the Angels were out of contention because he felt Callaspo would improve him team and that Grant Green would be of no use to Oakland and even less use to the Angels.  

 

As it turns out, Callaspo has been of no use to Oakland and Grant Green can be of tremendous use to the Angels if played consistently.

 

Beane would not knowingly make a trade that sent the Angels something they needed while the Angels were trailing his team by only a game and a half.  

 

If the Angels want Milone, the best they could hope for is to convince another team to trade for him and then give that team something they want in return for Milone the way the Blue Jays and Rangers did with Napoli.  Really really not going to happen.
