Not quite sure I understand this.  Shoemaker is pitching well and we need to manage the workload on Richards and Skaggs since neither has ever thrown 200 innings.

Ha, this cycle of calling up pitchers for one specific situation before immediately being DFAed/optioned is getting kind of funny. Going to set a record for players used in a season!

It's pretty standard to use options when you have options. It makes sense to use all resources.

Ha, this cycle of calling up pitchers for one specific situation before immediately being DFAed/optioned is getting kind of funny. Going to set a record for players used in a season!

We're not to the average level of players used in a season yet, but we soon will probably get there.  That number is usually between 45-50.  Grube is #40.
