Give it up for C.J. Cron & Grant Green tonight!

It was nice to see and gives me hope for the future. I was a little irritated with Green's horrible AB with runners on 2nd and 3rd but I think he will be an upgrade over Freese in the long run. Cron's power was impressive, especially that double that was jammed him.

 

I was at the top of the stadium. Was Green's AB really that bad? It seemed like he was patient until the last pitch where he obviously swung at ball 4. To me it seemed emblematic of the team so far this year. Just too aggressive with guys in scoring position. It's like they show up with a plan and then as soon as it starts working they abandon it and just swing at anything in an attempt to get the RBI.
