Bachelorette Contestant Dies in Paragliding Accident

32 year old Eric Hill that was a contestant for this upcoming The Bahelorette died from injuries when his parachute collapsed and he crashed into a rocky mountainside.

He was no longer involved in the show and was back in his home state of Utah at the time. The host Chris Harrison tweeted his condolences and it is unclear if any other contestants are aware of Hills passing, shooting is still in progress in remote locations.

This is going to make for a difficult season for everyone in the production staff. Even for the short weeks that the show is in production cast and crew form friendships. Now, even before episode one is finished they will have work through the rest of the season knowing one of the contestants has been lost.
