Jose Mota can be found on both Baseball-Reference and IMDB. Not many can say that. After being a two-time Collegiate All-American second baseman at Cal State Fullerton, Mota enjoyed a 12-year pro career that saw him play in 17 Major League games in 1991. Eight years after that, he made his film debut in "For Love of the Game," portraying Dominican shortstop "Jose Garcia" and making the final out of Kevin Costner's fictional perfect game.

Now you can find Mota on your Angels broadcasts.

For 12 years, Mota has served as a pre and postgame analyst on FOX Sports West and a color commentator for FOX Sports Espanol. He arrived in 2002, right in time for the Angels' first and only World Series championship, and has seen quite the transition ever since -- from five American League West titles in six years to four consecutive playoff absences despite back-to-back blockbuster signings.
