#Angels have called up 3B Kaleb Cowart from triple-A and designated 3B Conor Gillaspie for assignment.

2014 was the high point for Gillaspie, .282 BA and .336 OBP, 57 RBI.

 

Hope he catches on somewhere. It's always a little sad when a player's career ends.

Not really ok, but then again the whole team can't hit. It's like a disease.

saw the stat in another thread.  I didn't realize it was that bad.  He got some good hits early.

 

Thinking about it, the team has really sucked from the time Freese went down and we made the trade for the platoon trio.

Honestly storm I didn't think his slash line had fallen so low. I think a couple of those early clutch hits he had left a better impression in my brain than it should have and as others said he kind of fell under the radar with everyone else not doing well.

Kind of cool about cowart though. No idea what to expect, but its one of the few things to get my interest going again.

 I hope Cowart does that for the Angels.  That's about what he did in August for the Bees... so we'll see... I'm skeptical.
