Enright pitches into 7th in shutout

Barry Enright helped Hermosillo to a Game 1 victory in the Mexican Pacific League final series. Enright pitched 6 2/3 shutout innings and yielded seven hits to collect his first win of the post season of Mexican winter ball.

 

Hermosillo won the first game 4-0 and currently trails 6-1 in Game 2.

 

New Angel Fernando Salas pitched well in the previous round of playoffs, although his blazing 84 mph fastball worries me.

his fastball was around 90-92 last year and pretty much over his entire career.  If he's sitting at 84mph then he's either just ramping up or his arm is about to fall off.  Hopefully, that was hyperbole from the op.

Salas got the win in Game 3 on Friday. He finished the 7th inning down 5-0 and Hermosillo put up a six-spot in the eight to take the lead. Hermosillo lost Game 4 to Navojoa, no appearance for Salas. Series even at two.
