I don't know what kind of manager Washington is going to be, but I like him as a person.  I like the way he carries himself and the way he demonstrates how much he loves baseball.

my previous knowledge of him was pretty limited to all the cocaine jokes on this board.

i've been pleasantly surprised to learn about him this past month and hear so many stories of respect and admiration that his players have for him. he sounds like a real good man. hopefully he can help turn this team around. i wish him well.
