I was referring to disappointment in Washington hire.  Not advocating rehiring Scioscia.  Learn to read

You in fact said you’d rather bring back scioscia. We don’t need to learn how to read, you need to learn how to speak. Not our fault you make zero sense 106% of the time.

ANGELS NAME RON WASHINGTON AS MAJOR LEAGUE MANAGER

ANAHEIM  The Angels today announced the hiring of Ron Washington as the Club’s field manager. Washington has agreed to a two-year contract covering the 2024 and 2025 seasons. He joins the Angels after spending the last seven years as the Braves third base coach, including Atlanta’s World Series Championship team in 2021.

The 2024 season represents Washington’s ninth as a Major League manager. He spent parts of eight years (2007-14) at the helm of the Texas Rangers, compiling a 664-611 (.521) regular season record and guided Texas to back-to-back American League Championships in 2010 and 2011. He remains the winningest manager in Rangers history and his Texas clubs finished in first or second place in the A.L. West in six consecutive seasons (2008-13). Entering 2024, Washington’s 664 wins rank eighth among current managers.

Washington began his coaching career with five minor league seasons (1991-95) in the Mets organization as a coach (1991-92, ’95) and manager (1993-94). His first Major League coaching role was as Oakland’s first base coach in 1996 and remained with the Athletics big league staff as third base coach from 1997-2006. Following his stint as Rangers manager, he returned to the A’s coaching staff from May 2015 through the end of the 2016 season.

A New Orleans native, Washington attended John McDonogh HS (LA) and Manatee Junior College (FL). During his playing career, Washington was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Kansas City Royals in 1970 and made his Major League debut with the Dodgers in 1977. He appeared in 564 MLB games across parts of 10 seasons with Los Angeles (N.L.) (1977), Minnesota (1981-86), Baltimore (1987), Cleveland (1988) and Houston (1989). Washington and his wife, Geraldine, live in New Orleans.

It's awesome that the team who lost a player to an OD (and is being sued for his death) hires a drug addict.

Didn't he also rape a reporter?

Dude, I get you are bitter he dated and dumped your mom but he definitely is better than anyone Swordsman78 thinks is the best manager for the job.
