I'd really like to see Stefanic given more of a chance. I know he has limited defensive utility, but he's hit too well in the minors not to be given more of a shot.

I'd DFA Velazquez and call up Cabbage + Stefanic.

I know they wouldn't really have a backup SS, but I don't think it matters at this point.

I'd recall Fletcher.  The team is already paying him, so we might as well use him.  

Once the rosters expand, I'd activate Adell, and recall Stefanic.

Manager Phil Nevin said that Adell's injury is a more significant strain than the one suffered by Zach Neto, who missed roughly a month earlier this season. Adell left the Angels’ game on July 8 after injuring himself on a swing in the first inning. He was transferred to the 60-day IL on Aug. 1, indicating he won't be back until likely mid-September. I bring up Adams, he never got into many games first time up. Let him get some experience. Fletcher, Stefanic really not part of future with halos.

I miss the Fletcher of the 26-game hitting streak. I guess they figured him out, he didn't adjust, and he's history. Too bad.
