Ohtani in the loop?

Should the Angels offer a say in which team he may be traded to? Or is it all about business? Is there a clause in his current contract? Just thinking out loud.

If the Angels decide to trade Ohtani, he should have no say in where he goes.

If it’s me making the decision I am trading him to whomever offers the best offer.  I don’t care if that is the Dodgers or Seattle.  Get the most value for him and move on.

Then he will be happy we got the most talent possible for him if he wants to return.  Also the more the receiving team gives up the less desirable that team will be to re-sign with.
