How do the Angels Handle their Upcoming Managerial Search?

The team is for sale, but any new sale won’t be completed for at least a few months, which means the new manager figures to be hired under Moreno/Minasian.

Is a manager gonna agree to manage knowing new ownership is likely taking the reigns in 2024 and probably cleaning house?

Is Arte gonna just let Minasian pick his guy and stay out of the decision? Is Arte gonna be reluctant to pay for an experienced manager knowing an inexperienced manager will be cheaper?

I don't see why they wouldn't let Minasian pick his guy.  If the Angels make the playoffs next year, or even if they don't, then I don't see why it should be assumed new ownership will purge the front office

I agree that they should let Minasian pick his own manager.

I just wonder what the pool of candidates will look like, as some managerial candidates may not want to manage for a team whose ownership is changing.
