Or punish the individuals responsible with death. It’s convenient for libs and non believers to blame religion while denying their own belief systems. Climate change , evolution, and the lgbt agenda are every bit as ideological and faith based as any religion. While the media and libs love to focus on the church , our prisons are full of morally bankrupt individuals that aren’t followers of Jesus. I got a DeSantis flyer in the mail today. Although he is not a declared candidate, it was clearly aimed at voters. I wanted to see how many times that the word "woke" appeared. I quit counting at ten. I was disappointed at the relative lack of references of socialist/socialism, another key GOP dog whistle. A few highlights:

Crowed about "standing up" to Dr. Fauci. I don't know that defying expert medical advice and unnecessarily planting significant numbers of his state's residents is a bragging point, but there you go. Florida's population contains a large number of older people, who are at greatly increased risk of dying from COVID, but hey, don't inconvenience anybody by requiring a mask.

Also talked about "standing up" to Disney (who dared to have a contrary opinion about his continuing discrimination against LGBTQ people) and "leveling the playing field" in Florida by taking governance away from them. This was an agreement that the state entered into with Disney to get them to build in Orlando. It also dumps expenses on local municipalities that were being covered by Disney. Pissing off your state's largest employer and top tourist draw is probably not a bragging point either.

Cited signing the "anti-woke" law, prohibiting the teaching of critical race theory in schools. This was a useless gesture since CRT isn't, and never has been, taught in the state's schools. Discussion of CRT begins in law school.

"Ron DeSantis fought back against the woke elites and won" - coming from a graduate of Harvard and Yale.

He’s flawed for sure. Now name the top 5 reasons a man should vote democrat. It’s much easier to mock your opponents than to stand for things of substance. Very few dems will stand for anything outside of stealing , killing , and lgbt. I would argue most dem voters don’t love those initiatives but they don’t deplore them to the level of traditional Christian America. There’s no economic or social plan that strengthens America.
