The most interesting thing I am seeing is the hot chick in the white halter top in the 120s section.  You can see her when they show a field level shot of left handed hitters.  She was sitting alone.

Then her average friend came back and sat next to her, then the hefty chick sat down next to her.

 It's interesting watching how media narratives come and go, and new ones are created and old ones buried. Flavor of the moment rather than of the month.

As soon as a perennial losing team has a hot streak and sniffs a playoff spot  the narratives come out about how great it will be for their fans. See Baltimore and Seattle now. And how great their management has been putting their team together. But if they fade away and miss the playoffs they are quickly forgotten.

And on to the next feel good story.

In today's game a team just has to be a little above average to be a playoff contender. Not necessarily a good team or one that will be good going forward. Being in wild card contention can be deceptive in the long run. Especially for those teams who sacrifice the future to go all in for one year. Rarely does it translate into permanent elite status.

Don't know if you guys noticed, Texas has cleaned their house.  They fired longtime exec John Daniels today. Texas is in their 6th consecutive losing season, and are saddled with very large contracts to Seager and Semien for many years.  Welcome to the Bummer Club Rangers.  Arte is probably watching that one for ideas, and Minasian is probably hiding under his desk.

What was the reasoning behind putting that yellow line on the right field wall? It's utterly ridiculous. As a fan of another team I don't really get it. 

I mean it's given the Mariners 2 home runs today, Rengifo one the other day .... did management ever say why they changed it up?
